It burns today.

There's no explanation for it. My vagina just burns. I haven't been sitting for long periods of time, I haven't really done anything out of the ordinary. It just burns. And this is why it's so hard to diagnose the problem. I know that sitting causes burning, but sometimes it just burns for no apparent reason. Obviously I will not be trying spinning this week if my vagina already burns for no reason. It's so frustrating.

Could it even be related to something you did the day before? I'm so sorry you're in pain today. I know that has to be frustrating.

Odd, but...have you every tried to use ice internally? Some women use condoms or small balloons filled with water and then frozen. I know I couldn't handle much girth in terms of internal ice, and I suspect you probably have the same problem.

I hope you're feeling better today.

Thanks Pearl. I haven't tried ice, but I have tried something that my physical therapist calls "Mr Frosty". It's a condom filled with ultrasound gel that is refrigerated. It was hard to use because it wasn't firm so it just squeezed out everywhere. But even when I did get it to work, it's only a temporary relief. As soon as it's gone, the burning comes back.

I'd be afraid that with something frozen, even with a lot of lube, it might stick to the skin. Have you tried it yourself? Isn't it painful to have something frozen inside your vagina?

Thanks for the well wishes. Someday the mystery will be solved. SOMEDAY!

Unfortunately, I can't offer a first person experience. I actually do not have any intra-vaginal burning, so I have not tried this. I only need to use ice externally.

I would think the ice melts so quickly with body heat there's not a concern of sticking. I've used baggies of ice externally without problem. ?? Who knows ??

Cute name--Mr. Frosty :)
